Zachary Cooper is a legal scholar, researcher and lecturer. His current research program focuses on the ways in which emergent technologies are able to, sometimes subtly, subvert and confound foundational legal tenets, and how incoherence is exploited to emancipate private actors from the control of the state.

He is currently an External PhD candidate affiliated with Amsterdam Law & Technology Institute, VU Amsterdam.
