Gareth Davies

Professor of EU Law

Brief info

I teach and research mostly EU law, particularly free movement law, EU citizenship, and EU constitutional law. However, I also have a long-standing interest in the conflicts between quantifiable and non-quantifiable interests in law, and the application of ideas about this to issues like GMOs, market regulation, legal scholarship, privacy, and, above all, climate engineering technologies.

Fun fact: I worked as a tour guide for ten years: more than 5 times as long as I ever studied law.
